This would erase your epic games launcher folder as well as a few folders in your appdata folder related to the epic games launcher. all you have to do is change your drive letter to the one it says invalid and "g:/" for example. do this and open the installer again and click on remove then when that's done install it again. My previous hard drive crashed and i had it replaced, while my sdd works just fine. i had unreal tournament installed on my previous hard drive that crashed. now i cannot uninstall or install "epic games launcher" because i get this error: 'the folder path unreal tournament contains an invalid character'. As it's a 1gb install this would be annoying but acceptable, however, when i then use the epic games launcher to install unreal engine 4 (a 15gb install) i am unable to designate the location. it always downloads into the launcher's folder..
So i have had the epic game launcher installer previously, but found it's gone now i wanted to start playing fortnite. i had epic games installed on a previous drive. when that drive had an unrecoverable crash, and was removed, the corresponding drive letter no longer existed.. Once done, there will be a shortcut for the epic games launcher on the desktop. 14. now, you can run the epic games, fortnite without the need to update from client pc in super client mode..
